About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from La Grange Park, IL. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew works where the partner sales organization has a market open — today that is Illinois. The work can include La Grange Park where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
In La Grange Park: A national nuclear science society keeps its headquarters in a former schoolhouse whose original exterior surfaces were left unchanged. The nearest larger airport is Chicago Midway International (MDW). The park district veterans memorial honors all active duty members and veterans, and its plaza keeps growing as memorial bricks are added. Memorial Park multi-sport courts sit beside the public library and include lighted pickleball courts and an outdoor fitness court. The park district runs a youth drama program whose rehearsals take place at its recreation center on Barnsdale Road.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
