What a blitz is — and isn't

When a carrier opens a market or a build passes new homes, the partner sales organization wants that market covered while it is new. A blitz team is how that gets done — a crew, a lead and a schedule that move together, work the market for the set window, and move on when the window closes. It is not a permanent territory, it is not a guarantee of any number of doors or installs, and it is not a job with a base. The crew's pay is the same 1099 commission on completed installs as any other rep placement; what changes is where you are and how long you stay.

Blitz managers

A blitz manager runs the crew on the ground: the daily plan, the split of streets, the check-ins, the tally, and the rep who needs a ride-along by day three. If you have run a traveling crew in any door-to-door product, apply under I have a Blitz Team and say so — a lead who brings a crew is what a blitz placement needs. If you have managed but have no crew today, choose the same option and tell the recruiter; whether you lead a crew or join one is the partner's call for a given blitz, and the recruiter raises it. No management pay, override or team cut is offered or promised here, and KnockFiber has none to offer. Anything of the kind is between you and the partner sales organization, and you should not assume there is one.

What happens after you apply

  1. Your recruiter, Grayson Sorrentino ((954) 654-2239), texts you back and asks about your crew, if you have one, and how far you'll travel: where you knock today, headcount, range, how long at a stretch, and when you can start.
  2. If a partner sales organization KnockFiber recruits for has a market open for a blitz that fits you, your application is registered with it. If none is open where you will go, we keep your application on file and contact you if one opens. There is no set timeline, and a blitz may not open where you can go.
  3. The partner sets the blitz: the market and the window. Whether it covers any travel or lodging, or the crew covers its own, differs per blitz — ask on the call; this page does not answer it.
  4. You knock. Pay is commission on completed installs, every 2 weeks, 1099.

What is a fiber blitz team?
A blitz team is a door-to-door crew that works a market which has just opened for fiber sales, intensively, for a set window — usually days to a few weeks — and then moves on to the next one. The crew, the team lead and the schedule travel together; the market is new to everyone on it. It is the opposite of working one neighborhood month after month.
I have a blitz team. What do you need from me?
Where you knock today, how many people you have, what you sell now (fiber, solar, alarms, pest, cable — the door skills carry across), how far the crew will travel and for how long at a stretch, and when you can start. Apply once for the whole team; the recruiter takes the whole team's details on one call.
I don't have a team. Can I join a blitz crew?
Yes. Choose “I want to join a blitz crew” on the application and say how far you will travel and for how long. Blitz crews are built from reps who can commit to a window away from home; experience helps but is not required.
Who runs a blitz, and who pays?
Every rep and team lead is placed with a partner sales organization that sells the carrier's service in that market; the partner runs the blitz and pays commissions on completed installs. KnockFiber is a recruiting platform, not a carrier and not the employer, and never charges a rep anything. Details of a specific blitz — the market, the window, and what, if anything, the partner covers for travel — come from the partner on the call, not from this page.
Is this a job offer, and what does it pay?
No, and no figure is quoted here on purpose. Every seat is a 1099 independent-contractor, commission-only role paid on completed installs — no base, no quota. Individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed, for a solo rep or a whole blitz team. Travel, lodging and per diem are not promised here and may not be offered at all; ask the partner sales organization on the call what, if anything, it covers for a given blitz.
Which markets get blitzed?
None are listed here on purpose. A blitz market is set by the partner sales organization for that carrier, and it changes; a blitz may not be open at all when you apply.
