About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Swansea, IL. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew works where the partner sales organization has a market open — today that is Illinois. The work can include Swansea where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
In Swansea: The village keeps a dog park inside its main memorial park, open to the public for pets with current vaccinations. The nearest larger airport is Scott AFB/Midamerica St Louis (BLV). Melvin Price Memorial Park holds the Norman Lehr Community Center, which has a kitchen, and the park also has a playground. Schranz Park, also called Swansea Kingdom, has rentable pavilions and a rentable building known as the TWM Center, or The Barn. The Thompson Center is a village building with a kitchen and interior space, sitting across the street from the memorial park.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
