About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Carencro, LA. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew's market is assigned at placement and changes as partners open markets, so the work may start outside Carencro. The work can include Carencro where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
In Carencro: Pelican Park has artificial-turf infields and a concert stage. The nearest larger airport is Paul Fournet Field (LFT). The Carencro Sports Complex offers an air-conditioned indoor turf field that can be reserved for soccer, flag football and parties. The Carencro Senior Center offers scheduled weekday activities for seniors, including art class, piano lessons and exercise classes. Carencro Park has tennis courts, basketball courts, lighted ball fields, covered picnic areas and a children's playground.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
