About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Lake Forest Park, WA. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew's market is assigned at placement and changes as partners open markets, so the work may start outside Lake Forest Park. The work can include Lake Forest Park where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
In Lake Forest Park: Lyon Creek Waterfront Preserve has a dock on Lake Washington and a creek where visitors can watch for salmon. The nearest larger airport is Seattle Paine Field International (PAE). Pfingst Animal Acres Park has a salmon viewing platform on a creek and a demonstration garden whose harvest goes to food banks. The city publishes a guide to self-guided tree walks that begin at City Hall and at several city parks. Lyon and McAleer creeks, both rich in salmon, were camping places of the Lake People long before the city formed.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
