How Buckeye Broadband fiber gets sold door to door
Short answer: Buckeye Broadband fiber is knocked by reps who are placed with a partner sales organization, and that partner badges, trains and pays them as 1099 contractors, on a commission-only basis, once installs complete. KnockFiber has pages for 11 towns in Ohio selling it, and each town is on the service-area list on Buckeye Broadband’s home page. Below: who you would answer to, how towns are picked, and the full list.

Buckeye Broadband’s home page (buckeyebroadband.com) lists its service areas by state, under the headings OHIO and MICHIGAN. A town appears here only when Buckeye names it there, and the town’s page on this site cites Buckeye’s own page for that town, with the date that page was checked.
Buckeye’s home page asks visitors the same thing a rep will: “To see if Buckeye is available in your area, enter your address below.” That is the frame for the work. A town on the list is not a promise for every street, so each home is confirmed by address, and the partner sales organization decides where a rep knocks. Buckeye’s own home page now sells “Fiber-Powered Internet” on its fiber network, so this page calls the product fiber.
Who you would be working with
The door-to-door roles KnockFiber fills are with partner sales organizations, not with the carrier. The partner recruits, onboards, trains, badges and pays the rep, and the rep sells the carrier's product at the door. You learn which partner pays you before you start, and the current partners are listed at the bottom of every page.
KnockFiber sits one layer earlier. We recruit fiber sales reps and place them with vetted partner sales organizations, and the partner handles credentials and pay from there. You tell us your city; we match you to whoever is actually hiring in it. More on the general shape of this: how carrier fiber D2D programs work →
What the job is, honestly
It's a 1099 independent-contractor role, commission only, paid every two weeks on installs that actually complete — no base, no guaranteed paycheck. Individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed. Full breakdown: how fiber sales pay works →
Fiber is an easier door than most: the product is straightforward to explain, and the conversation is short and honest — it doesn't need a hard close. Prior door-to-door experience — solar, alarms, pest, security — transfers directly. If you have none, that's workable too: start here →
