About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Fraser, MI. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew works where the partner sales organization has a market open — today that is Michigan. The work can include Fraser where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
About Fraser: Fort Fraser is a wooden playscape of slides, tunnels and monkey bars set within Steffens Park beside the municipal complex. The nearest larger airport is Detroit Metro Wayne County (DTW). Baumgartner House is a historical museum with a garden behind it, standing beside Somerset Park. Fraser Public Library lets patrons send documents to its printer from home and collect the printouts when they visit. The public library lends laptops and wireless hotspots to residents with an active card, and offers three-dimensional printing and a Cricut machine.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
