About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Linden, NJ. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew's market is assigned at placement and changes as partners open markets, so the work may start outside Linden. The work can include Linden where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
Around Linden: A petroleum refinery on the harbor shore turns crude into transportation fuels, petrochemical feedstocks and home heating oil. The nearest larger airport is Newark Liberty International (EWR). Linden's public library began as a citizen effort backed by the local Rotary Club before turning into a tax-supported institution. A train station sits downtown on the Northeast Corridor line, and the state has recognized the city as a Transit Village. HawkRise Conservation Area on Range Road is among the recreation properties the city lists in its park directory.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
