About this role
Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)
Recruited from Lodi, NJ. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew's market is assigned at placement and changes as partners open markets, so the work may start outside Lodi. The work can include Lodi where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.
In Lodi: The borough takes its name from a city in the Lombardy region of Italy. The nearest larger airport is Laguardia (LGA). The building that opened as the borough's own junior and senior high school now serves as its middle school. Trolley tracks were pulled up from several local streets to make way for cars, buses and taxis. Lodi Memorial Library keeps a local history section with articles by the borough historian and biographies of residents.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
- Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.
