Fiber sales jobs in Mahoning Valley

Updated October 22, 2026

The Mahoning Valley — Youngstown at its center, with Boardman, Poland, Austintown, Canfield, Campbell and Struthers around it, and Girard, Warren and Niles over the Trumbull County line — is a fiber market that is partly built, not finished. Lumos, the T-Mobile/EQT joint venture behind T-Mobile Fiber in the Valley, started Youngstown's build on the city's North Side; as of September 25, 2026 its own Ohio page lists Youngstown and Warren as available and Boardman, Poland, Austintown, Canfield, Campbell and Struthers as coming soon, and in July 2026 Lumos said county permitting requirements had forced it to suspend plans that would have expanded fiber access to about 200,000 households across Mahoning and Stark counties. Availability varies by address, so nothing on these pages should be read as a promise about any particular home. What makes the cluster worth a field rep's attention is its shape — about 228,000 people in Mahoning County alone, most of them inside a ten-mile radius of downtown, much of it laid out in older walkable street grids, so a crew can cover several towns as one territory without long drives. T-Mobile and other carrier names appear here descriptively, to identify the service being sold; reps recruited by KnockFiber are independent 1099 contractors and are not employed by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any carrier or network builder. Every role here is a 1099 independent-contractor position, commission-only and paid on completed installs; individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed.
