About this role

Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Blitz Crew (Travel)

Recruited from Flat Rock, MI. This is a traveling blitz crew seat: the crew works where the partner sales organization has a market open — today that is Michigan. The work can include Flat Rock where partner-carrier fiber is built. Travel between markets is part of the role. KnockFiber is an independent recruiting company: it recruits for this seat, and you contract with the partner sales organization, not with KnockFiber.

About Flat Rock: The area began as a Wyandot settlement and later became a reservation set aside for the Wyandot people. The nearest larger airport is Detroit Metro Wayne County (DTW). Early French records named the settlement here for an outcropping of limestone rock beside the Huron River. Henry Ford chose a spot beside the Huron River for a Ford Motor Company lamp factory because of the river's water power. The local public school district runs a community high school, a middle school and elementary schools within the city.

What you'll do:

  • Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.

What you need:

  • No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.

Schedule:

  • 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.

Pay structure:

  • Commission only, paid on completed installs. No base pay. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.

KnockFiber is the independent recruiting company for this role; you would contract with the partner sales organization for the market your crew works.

Occupation: Door-to-Door Sales Workers, News and Street Vendors, and Related Workers (O*NET-SOC 41-9091.00) · Industry: telecommunications · Skills used: speaking, active listening, social perceptiveness, persuasion, service orientation
