Ontario at a glance

Ontario Ranch is one of the largest master-planned developments in Southern California. The city bills Ontario Ranch as Southern California's first gigabit community, and its own OntarioNet fiber serves communities there, so expect many new homes to already have a fiber option.

Ontario counted 175,265 residents at the 2020 census and about 185,300 by the Census Bureau's 2024 estimate — up almost 6% — on roughly 50 square miles of land in the Inland Empire. United Parcel Service is the city's largest employer, with 5,000 to 9,999 workers in the city's FY2025 financial report, ahead of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, the Ontario-Montclair elementary schools and Chaffey Union High School District, and Ontario International Airport handled 7.1 million passengers in 2025, its most since local control began in 2016. Ontario Ranch, which the city calls Southern California's largest master-planned community at 13 square miles, added about 1,200 new homes in 2023 alone.

  • ✓Commission, paid every 2 weeks on completed installs — no base pay.
  • ✓Addresses from your partner — the partner sales organization you contract with assigns the doors you work in the Inland Empire.
  • ✓No experience required. Solar, alarms, pest, or any closing background is a plus — partner sales organizations train new reps.
  • ✓Advancement — partner sales organizations can promote from Rep to Team Leader to Regional; it takes time, and each partner sets its own path.

Ontario fiber sales — FAQ

Do I need experience to sell fiber in Ontario?
No. Any closing background helps, but we recruit motivated, coachable people in the Inland Empire area, and partner sales organizations provide the scripts and training.
How and when do I get paid?
Commission only, paid every two weeks on completed installs. No base. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
What areas of Ontario will I cover?
The partner sales organization that places you assigns the addresses you work. This page covers Ontario and nearby areas such as Ontario Ranch, Creekside, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, Montclair, and Upland. It does not confirm a territory for you.
Is this a job or a 1099 contract?
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity — you set your own schedule within the partner's market; the partner sales organization provides its brand, scripts and support.
Are there door-to-door fiber sales jobs near me in Ontario?
Yes — we're recruiting door-to-door Frontier fiber sales reps in Ontario and across the Inland Empire. Apply in 30 seconds and a local recruiter will reach out to talk territory. Commission-only 1099; individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed.
Where does Frontier have fiber in Ontario?
Frontier's own FCC filing (FCC Broadband Data Collection, December 2025 filing) shows Frontier service in Ontario. Frontier's local page sells Fiber 500 through Fiber 7 Gig plans in the city. Availability is per-address, so the address checker decides each door.
What other fiber is already in Ontario?
Two other fiber options, by their own accounts. The City of Ontario runs its own municipal fiber network, OntarioNet, which began delivering gigabit service in December 2015, reports more than 1,600 residential subscribers and says its fiber supports service in Ontario Ranch and newly developed parts of the Old Model Colony; the city scheduled construction to extend it through another service area starting in August 2026. AT&T says AT&T Fiber is available in parts of Ontario. So a rep in Ontario Ranch especially should expect some homes to have a fiber option already and compete on the offer. As of September 2026, availability for every provider is per-address.
Do I need Spanish to knock in Ontario?
It helps a lot here. The 2020 Census counted Ontario as 68.4% Hispanic or Latino, and the ACS 2020–2024 estimates that 46.5% of residents five and older speak Spanish at home, while about 18.5% speak Spanish and speak English less than "very well." Spanish is never a requirement to apply, but a bilingual rep can hold the whole conversation at far more doors, and an English-only rep will meet some households that prefer Spanish. Clear, patient explanations of what a fiber install involves matter in either language.

Blitz teams

A blitz team travels to whichever market has just opened for door-to-door fiber sales — not necessarily this one — works it intensively for a set window, then moves on. KnockFiber is looking for blitz teams, blitz managers and reps who will travel to work fresh markets. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go.
