BUILD STATUS T-Mobile does not list Santa Fe on its fiber availability page and has no Santa Fe fiber page; Albuquerque is its only New Mexico listing. Vexus Fiber, part of Metronet and now the T-Mobile Fiber joint venture, holds a 2022 city franchise and began building in 2024, so any service is confirmed per address.

Santa Fe at a glance

High income, high work-from-home share, and long-standing frustration with legacy internet — a quality-over-volume market that rewards a professional pitch.

Santa Fe counted 87,505 residents at the 2020 census and about 90,600 by the Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate, on roughly 52 square miles of land; 51% of residents are Hispanic or Latino and about 28% speak Spanish at home. Los Alamos National Laboratory's roughly 14,000-person workforce draws commuters from Santa Fe (only 35% of lab staff live in Los Alamos), state government is a major employer in the capital, and CHRISTUS St. Vincent is north-central New Mexico's only Level III trauma center, serving more than 300,000 people. Just 56% of the city's 45,500 housing units are single-family detached — the lowest share of the New Mexico markets on this site — and 63% are owner-occupied, so a recruiter here finds state workers, lab commuters, hospital staff and hospitality workers, many of them bilingual.

  • ✓Commission, paid every 2 weeks on completed installs — no base pay.
  • ✓Addresses from your partner — the partner sales organization you contract with assigns the doors you work in the Santa Fe area.
  • ✓No experience required. Solar, alarms, pest, or any closing background is a plus — partner sales organizations train new reps.
  • ✓Advancement — partner sales organizations can promote from Rep to Team Leader to Regional; it takes time, and each partner sets its own path.

Santa Fe fiber sales — FAQ

Do I need experience to sell fiber in Santa Fe?
No. Any closing background helps, but we recruit hungry, coachable people in the Santa Fe area area, and partner sales organizations provide the scripts and training.
How and when do I get paid?
Commission only, paid every two weeks on completed installs. No base. Individual results vary; no earnings are guaranteed.
What areas of Santa Fe will I cover?
The partner sales organization that places you assigns the addresses you work. This page covers Santa Fe and nearby areas such as Eldorado, Las Campanas, Rancho Viejo, South Capitol, Casa Solana, and Agua Fría. It does not confirm a territory for you.
Is this a job or a 1099 contract?
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity — you set your own schedule within the partner's market; the partner sales organization provides its brand, scripts and support.
Are there door-to-door fiber sales jobs near me in Santa Fe?
Yes — we're recruiting door-to-door T-Mobile fiber sales reps in Santa Fe and across the Santa Fe area. Apply in 30 seconds and a local recruiter will reach out to talk territory. Commission-only 1099; individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed.
Is T-Mobile Fiber available in Santa Fe right now?
Not according to T-Mobile's own surfaces: Santa Fe is not on T-Mobile's fiber availability page and there is no Santa Fe city page on t-mobile.com; Albuquerque is the only New Mexico market listed. The fiber builder is Vexus Fiber, part of Metronet (now the T-Mobile Fiber joint venture), which won a city franchise in March 2022 for a $35–50 million network and, after permitting delays with the city and PNM, said in June 2024 that construction was underway with a target of about 1,500 homes a month. Any offer here depends on addresses becoming serviceable, so ask your sales org what is live today.
Which Santa Fe neighborhoods will I knock?
Turf follows Vexus construction, which the company said would move through the city in phases and carefully in the old-town core because of archaeological rules. City-registered neighborhood associations include Bellamah, Rodeo, Agua Fria, Cerrillos, Rancho Viejo and Las Campanas, and Tierra Contenta in southwest Santa Fe is a city-adopted master-planned community built around affordable housing. Expect walled and fenced lots in the historic districts and HOA-controlled enclaves such as Las Campanas where access may need permission. Ask your sales org for the current serviceable list before you plan a route.
Do I need Spanish to knock in Santa Fe?
It is not required. About half of Santa Fe residents are Hispanic or Latino, roughly 28% of residents age five and up speak Spanish at home, and about 8% speak English less than "very well" (ACS 2019–2023). Many households are fully bilingual, so the job is workable in English; Spanish simply opens more conversations at more doors. Everyone still needs clear English for the order process and the carrier's paperwork. Individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed.

Blitz teams

A blitz team travels to whichever market has just opened for door-to-door fiber sales — not necessarily this one — works it intensively for a set window, then moves on. KnockFiber is looking for blitz teams, blitz managers and reps who will travel to work fresh markets.
