Where does Kinetic have fiber in Kerrville?
Kinetic's own FCC filing (FCC Broadband Data Collection, December 2025 filing) shows Kinetic fiber in Kerrville. The filing does not draw the footprint street by street, so a Kerrville address is looked up on its own and nothing is assumed from a neighboring block. Availability is per address; the December 2025 filing is the dated source here.
What is Kerrville's weather like through the year?
NOAA's 1991-2020 normals for its Kerrville 3 NNE station put the average high at 59.1°F in January and 92.8°F in August, with July at 91.6°F. Lows average 33.8°F in January and 69.8°F in July. What share of Kerrville's homes are rentals?
The ACS 2020-2024 estimates 40.9% of occupied homes are rented and 59.1% owner-occupied. Of Kerrville's 11,650 housing units, 63.2% are single-family detached, 4.2% attached, 7.9% in buildings of 20 or more units and 6.2% mobile homes, and 8.8% are vacant. An estimated 3.2% date to 1939 or earlier, 10.6% to 2010-2019 and 2.3% to 2020 or later. Mostly houses, with a sizeable block of rentals, and every address gets its own availability check.
How did Kerrville get started?
The city's own history page says Joshua D. Brown led a party of 10 men up the Guadalupe River and in 1846 chose a site near a large spring for one of the first cypress shingle camps in the territory. Brown's group returned in 1848 and named the settlement Brownsborough, and it was later renamed for Major James Kerr. In 1857 the German master miller Christian Dietert and a millwright started a large grist and saw mill, and by 1890 Charles Schreiner had raised the town to prominence.
Is Spanish needed to knock in Kerrville?
Spanish helps and is never required. The 2020 Census put 6,762 of Kerrville's 24,278 residents, or 27.9%, as Hispanic or Latino, more than one resident in four, a figure for the whole community that says nothing about any one household. A rep who can switch to Spanish when a household prefers it can finish the conversation in that language; a rep who cannot is still working with the same address check.

Blitz teams

A blitz team travels to whichever market has just opened for door-to-door fiber sales — not necessarily this one — works it intensively for a set window, then moves on. KnockFiber is looking for blitz teams, blitz managers and reps who will travel to work fresh markets. Some partner organizations cover part of the travel or housing on some blitzes; it varies by trip, and KnockFiber does not set or promise it. Terms are put in writing before you go.
