Only 42.3% of Humble's 6,428 housing units are detached houses in ACS 2020-2024 estimates; 34.2% sit in buildings of five or more units and 9.7% are mobile homes. Renters hold an estimated 61.2% of occupied homes, and the 1980s (24.2%) and 1970s (21.0%) lead the building decades, so a route over these 9.9 square miles would meet apartment complexes and older blocks more often than cul-de-sacs.
Humble had 16,795 residents in the 2020 Census and an estimated 16,561 for 2024 (Census Bureau), spread over about 9.9 square miles of land in Harris County. Its fiscal 2023 financial report lists Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital (a range of 500 to 999 employees) and Humble ISD (1,248) at the top of its principal-employers table, and describes the city as immediately adjacent to Houston Intercontinental Airport. In the 2020 Census, 42.8% of residents were Hispanic or Latino. Its housing stock is an estimated 6,428 units (ACS 2020-2024).

Hiring from Humble, Texas and the surrounding Harris County, in the county's northeast quadrant area, including Hirsch Memorial Park, Schott Park, Uptown Park, Timberwood Park, Humble Civic Center, Bender Performing Arts Center, and Humble Museum, for door-to-door fiber sales blitz crews. A blitz crew travels to a market that has just opened, works it for a set window, then moves on. Blitz crews work the markets partner sales organizations open, which can include Humble and the surrounding area, and travel to others as they open.
What you'll do:
- Travel with a blitz crew to the market the partner sales organization has open, knock residential doors at addresses where the availability check confirms fiber service, and sign interested households up at the door.
What you need:
- No experience or degree required — the partner provides scripts and training; reliable transportation; able to travel and work away from home for a set window.
Schedule:
- 1099 independent contractor. The partner sales organization sets each market and its window. Partners open blitz markets on a rolling basis; your KnockFiber recruiter matches you to the next crew.
Pay structure:
