Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are compact, old-grid cities where decades of copper make fiber a genuine upgrade story at the door. Commission only, paid every 2 weeks on installs.
BUILD STATUS T-Mobile does not list Scranton, or any Pennsylvania market, on its fiber availability page, and t-mobile.com has no Scranton fiber page. Any T-Mobile Fiber offer in the city would follow a future launch and would be confirmed address by address.
Scranton at a glance
Walkable density and practical households who respond to a straight-talk pitch.
Scranton counted 76,328 residents at the 2020 census and about 75,900 in the Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate, on roughly 25 square miles of land in Lackawanna County. The University of Scranton, a Jesuit university founded in 1888, counted 4,619 students in fall 2025, Marywood University enrolls more than 3,000, and Geisinger Community Medical Center on Mulberry Street runs the county's only Level II trauma center. The housing is old and mixed: 49 percent of units are detached single-family homes and another 15 percent sit in two-unit buildings, more than half were built before 1940, fewer than 3 percent since 2010, and owners and renters split almost evenly. For a recruiter that is a labor pool of students, hospital staff and long-time residents who know the neighborhoods.

Is T-Mobile Fiber available in Scranton right now?
No. T-Mobile's fiber availability page lists no Pennsylvania market, and t-mobile.com has no Scranton fiber page. The fiber already in the city is sold under other names. In April 2026 T-Mobile announced a joint venture to acquire Greenlight Networks, which bought Scranton's Loop Internet in October 2025, together with GoNetspeed; closing is expected in the first half of 2027. Until then Greenlight sells under its own brand and pricing, not as T-Mobile Fiber, and nothing here promises a date for any change. Any T-Mobile launch in Scranton would be confirmed address by address.
What other fiber is already in Scranton?
Greenlight Networks' Scranton page, checked in September 2026, says select Scranton neighborhoods can connect to fiber through Loop Internet, the Scranton company it acquired on October 1, 2025, and that its own newer build covers Dickson City, Blakely and Throop. In July 2026 Greenlight said the Loop purchase added nearly 36,000 passings, the homes and businesses its fiber runs past, with more than 30,000 more planned through the rest of 2026. In March 2026 Empire Fiber Internet listed Scranton-Wilkes-Barre among the Pennsylvania communities it serves. Expect some households to already have fiber, and check each address before you pitch.
How does Scranton weather change the job?
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton airport averages 45.1 inches of snow a year, with December-to-February highs near 38 degrees and lows near 23 (NOAA 1991-2020 normals). Dress for wet cold, keep your device dry, and treat snow days as follow-up days. As a 1099 independent contractor you set your own schedule around the weather.
Blitz teams
A blitz team travels to whichever market has just opened for door-to-door fiber sales — not necessarily this one — works it intensively for a set window, then moves on. KnockFiber is looking for blitz teams, blitz managers and reps who will travel to work fresh markets.
